It's not only renowned for its rich history but also for its triple-distillation process, which contributes to the whiskey's smooth and mellow character. In 1885, a fire swept through the distillery and destroyed a large portion of the buildings. Oddly enough, some of the casks filled with whiskey survived the blaze. Then it’s finished for a minimum of 4 months in hand selected, air-dried American Oak from the Taylor family farm in Kentucky.
